Nobody pays us for a signed deal. Fees come from the buyer only.
Document review is paid on delivery of the report. Assessment and dossier take a 50% booking payment. See fee terms.
No hidden-defect guarantee, no registry access, no repair estimates. Read the limits and questions.
Fee terms
You pay handmaddle.com for the dossier. No money is collected from the seller, the dealer or the listing platform, so the report has no reason to favour a sale.
Seller or dealer commission
None, in any form
No referral fee, finder fee or discount from the selling side. Method: written declaration in every engagement letter.
Dossier fee
Agreed in writing before the visit
One car, one visit, one report. The amount is confirmed in the engagement letter, with no hourly billing and no charge per defect photographed.
Payment timing
On delivery of the report
The invoice follows the visit report and the document review, after both are handed to you. No deposit is needed to hold the slot.
Cancellation
Free up to 24 hours before the visit
Cancel or reschedule by phone or email inside that window at no cost. Later cancellations are charged at the agreed fee.
Service limits
Condition and document consistency only
We are an independent buyer-side service. Not a government body, not a warranty, not insurance, not an official inspection certificate.
Fee amounts per scope are listed in the pricing tiers. Edge cases are answered in limits and FAQ, or ask us directly on the contact page.
Scope ledger
Independent buyer-side assistance. Not a government body, not a warranty, not insurance, and not an official inspection certificate. Each answer below states its own limit.
No. We grade what is visible and measurable on the inspection date as Minor, Monitor or Stop. A Stop item means we would pause the purchase, not that the car is proven unsafe. Faults that appear later, or that sit behind panels, seals and software, stay outside any grading.
Method: static and mobile inspection, photographed evidence rows, dated on the report cover.
We do not run registry queries and we cannot confirm legal title. Our document review checks the papers you supply for internal consistency: names, dates, plate and VIN strings, mileage entries and service stamps. You receive a written checklist for the official verification steps you must complete yourself before payment.
Source: buyer-provided documents only.
Condition assessment of the exterior, interior, engine bay, underbody access points and an on-road check where the seller permits one. Plus the ownership document review and a comparison ledger for two or three shortlisted cars. No engine disassembly, no paint thickness laboratory, no dyno, no legal opinion.
Scope card is attached to every invoice line.
One car on a confirmed booking: three working days from the inspection visit. Two or three cars booked together: five working days. Seller delays, unavailable service history or a rescheduled viewing move the date, and we tell you the new date in writing rather than issuing a partial report.
Clock starts at the inspection, not at the enquiry.
Never. The fee is fixed per dossier, paid by you, and agreed before the visit. We accept no commission, referral payment or discount from any seller or dealer, so a Stop grade costs us nothing to write.
Fee table is published on the pricing tiers section above this list.
It is a decision aid, not a verdict. Side-by-side rows show signed differences in mileage, asking price and graded condition items. Which car suits you depends on budget and use, and we do not claim one vehicle is better.
Rows mirror the same fields used in the single-car dossier.
